To celebrate their 50th birthday, the folks at Royal Festival Hall have put together a party to end all parties.  Adventures in Rock (in association with TheLondonSeason.com) is flattered to have been offered a limited number of invitations to these gala events. First up on Thursday May 3rd a concert featuring the Philharmonica Orchestra, pre-Gala Concert VIP drinks with members of the Royal Party (this is your chance to ask Chuck what he sees in Camilla) and Joanna Lumley, star of Absolutely Fabulous to name but a few. 

And the crowning jewel (sorry!) in the package -- the Total Meltdown reunion concert.  The yearly Meltdown festival has been described as "firmly established as the enemy of the tried and tested", the reunion concert's lineup reads like an avant-garde dream factory.  Artists confirmed to date include Elvis Costello, Laurie Anderson, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and David Thomas - at the fabulously intimate Royal Festival Hall.

Proceeds from these events with go towards the restoration and renovation of Royal Festival Hall.  A portion of your payment will be tax deductible.

Arrive London,welcome orientation, gala concert and reception at Royal Festival Hall
Upon arrival in London, you will be quite pleased with your beautiful central London accommodations.  Here you'll have some time to rest and relax or explore this vibrant central London location.  Our 5 star hotel is within walking distance of Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, the Millennium Wheel and so much more! 

In the late afternoon our guide, Jon, will meet you in the hotel bar for a drink and brief orientation.  Then a short stroll across the Thames for your date with royalty!!  Cocktail reception and a premium seat at the show.  Don't forget to pack your sequins!

May 4th - Friday
Absolute Meltdown concert at Royal Festival Hall
A free day to explore the ins and outs of London.

Tonight, it's back to Royal Festival Hall for the highlight of our trip -- the Total Meltdown Reunion concert in an intimate 2000 seat venue.  Premium seats of course.  After the show, your options are wide open -- a club night out, quiet drink at the hotel 24 hour bar.

May 5th, Saturday
Walk, Rock & Roll Tour
Today, the morning is yours to rest and recuperate from all the fun you've had, before this afternoons' "Walk, Rock & Roll" tour.  Whether this is your first time to London or your hundred and first, you will be amazed by our guide Jon's expertise of rock history and London itself.  Jon created the original London rock & roll walk and for this.  Jon is a native Londoner, music journalist, and rock historian who has been described by the West End Extra as a "font of amazing facts and obscure trivialities".  He's quite a guy and most importantly he's a true music fan.  He'll also have a list of music and other activities going on in and around town this evening.

May 6th - Sunday
Return flights to US
After a leisurely breakfast its back to the airport for our flights home.
